I’ve just posted about 30 original gouache paintings for sale in the shop. Most of these were painted in 2016 for the app Song Sleuth, and show portraits of common birds singing. The rest are from the early 2000s and were painted for the NY Times syndicated newspaper column “Sibley on Birds” that was distributed nationally for several years.
All of these paintings are 7.5 inches by 10 inches, mostly portrait orientation (vertical) with a few landscape (horizontal). All are painted in gouache on Bristol Board.
I will be posting more in the near future. Please contact me with any questions.
Hi David,
I recently purchased one of the original paintings (Red-tailed Hawk) which were part of the New York Times article. Are/will those paintings be signed by you? In the thumbnails photos on the site they don’t appear to be which is why I ask. Thanks!
Hi Scott,
Yes, all of the art is signed. Some of the scans I’m using for the images were made before the signature was added. Thanks for your order!
David,
What we are wanting for our observation room is your American Goldfinch plumage “slideshow” in a print or poster. Does that exist or could that be commissioned?
Best,
Jen Dee
